Bangalore: In a bid to tone up the State administration and accelerate the pace of implementation of development schemes, Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will hold his second ‘Chintana Manthana, a brainstorming session, with top officials at a resort on the outskirts of Bangalore on Saturday.
In preparation for the session, the Chief Minister on Tuesday began a four-day exercise to review the performance of all Ministers in the Bharatiya Janata Party Government, after sorting out differences with some of his ministerial colleagues who criticised his “style of functioning”.
In his keynote address at the meeting with Ministers, Mr. Yeddyurappa said he would review, with Ministers and officials, the progress, achievements and problems faced by various departments. Four ministerial teams have been formed based on the programmes being implemented by different departments.
