Yeddyurappa, Deve Gowda hold talks on BMIC project

Putting their differences behind them, Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and the former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda held an hour-long meeting on the execution of the controversial Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project.

The Chief Minister assured Mr. Deve Gowda that grievances of famers who will lose land to the project would be discussed by a high-level committee on allotment of land to Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE).
