He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to Revenue minister Karunakar Reddy’s house on Sunday. The planning commission, 12th finance commission and Reserve Bank of India have lauded the state’s effort in maintaining financial stability, he said.

Reacting to the continued opposition to the proposed Greenfield airport project at Sangankallu, he said government was not ready to withdraw and asked people not to listen to opposition parties, which are road blocks in the path to development.

He also assured that all programmes announced in the state budget would be fulfilled without fail. He said the government was committed to establish a Police Commissionerate at Bellary.
