Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Mr Yeddyurappa greeted Dr. Singh on assuming the office of the Prime Minister for the second successive term.
The PM on his part assuring all his cooperation for development of Bangalore and Karnataka also inquired about the infrastructural problems with the Chief Minister. He also promised him a full scale meeting concerning the problems of Karnataka after the Budget Session with the state. The CM made a special request for making available fertilisers to the state to enable the farmers to take up post-monsoon cultivation activities and to allocate power from the Central quota for the state to overcome power shortage.
