Karunanidhi in the presence of his Karnataka counterpart Chief Minister B.S Yeddyurappa went off peacefully on Sunday amidst a large turnout.Mr. Karunanidhi said the unveiling of Thiruvalluvar’s statue and that of Sarvajana in Chennai on August 13 “is a fine example of cooperation between States in India.” “We have created avenues for cooperation between the two States,” he remarked.
