Karnataka floods: Calamity through the eyes of lensmen

More than a hundred telling photographs of the largescale havoc unleashed by the week long torrential rains last fortnight in north and central Karnataka are on display in the state capital.

“We want the citizens here to have a close look at how their fellow brethren and sisters are in distress due to the worst ever natural disaster to have struck in a hundred years,” says N.R. Vishu Kumar, Director of the State Information Department and the brain behind the photo show.
