Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa turned 68 on Saturday. He celebrated the birthday in a simple manner by offering pooja, both at his residence and temples. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Governor H R Bhardwaj greeted him over phone on the occasion. Early in the morning, the chief minister offered pooja at his Dollar’s Colony residence along with his family members.His daughters and daughters-in-law performed an aarati on the occasion. Later, he visited the Radhakrishna temple in Sanjaynagar and offered a special pooja with his family members.The chief miniser also visited the Suttur Mutt and Adhichunchanagiri Mutt.His Cabinet ministers and supporters were, however, in high spirits.
