1.    Chief Minister B.S.Yeddyurappa to day addressed the investors meet at Shanghai, China and called upon the prospective investors to partner with Karnataka in its growth for mutual benefit.
2.    The chief Minister told the participants that the government of Karnataka believes in promoting meaningful private public partnerships.
3.    Therefore, the Government is offering various opportunities to invest under PPP model in Construction, power generation, and other Infrastructure projects in the Sate.
4.    Innumerable opportunities are also available in the areas of Semiconductor, Hardware, ATMP (Assembly Testing Marking, Packing) , ITES activities.
5.    The twelve year old IT policy is redrafted to make it suitable to the current needs.
6.    Sri.Katta subramanya Naidu, Minister for IT and BT, BWSSB also spoke.
7.    Sri.Murugesh Nirani, Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries also spoke.
