Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa on Sunday said that the Government headed by him will not allow anyone to exploit the natural resources of the State, including iron ore.Mr Yeddyurappa was speaking to presspersons after paying floral tributes to father of the Indian Constitution B. R. Ambedkar on the occasion of the 53rd death anniversary in front of the Vidhana Soudha.Dismissing the media reports that the BJP Government has committed to safeguarding the wealth of the State, the Chief Minister said it was wrong to pass judgment that the Government had been supporting the alleged exploitation of the States resources without crossing checking the facts.To a question about the Governments stand on the development over the mining issue, the Chief Minister said that the Government will cooperate with the countrys premier investigative agency, the CBI. The Indian Bureau of Mining is expected to send a team of officials to Karnataka and AP for verifying facts related to illegal mining.
