HUBLI: Chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Tuesday said the land for shifting of 260 flood-affected villages out of total 360 has already been
purchased.He was speaking to reporters in Hubli on his way to Bagalkot to lay the foundation stone for the reconstruction of villages there. He said the government, by expediting the flood-relief measures, has distributed compensation to over 90% damaged houses and 60% of crop loss.
