Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister, B.S Yeddyurappa left for China on Sunday night, to participate in a programme of “Summer Devos”, an annual meeting of new (political) champions, due in Tianjin for 3 days starting Monday (13th) to Wednesday (15th).
A press release stated that ‘Summer Devos’ is organised by a World Economic Forum, as global business gathering in Asia, providing a platform for leaders in government, business, media, civil society and academists, to discuss major growth driving forces.
At the event, Karnataka will be in the main zone of the venue, dedicated to a select group of regions and cities, the releases added.
CM Yeddyurappa is leading a delegation, and visited Tianjin Binhai, a new area located on eastern coast, potentially dominant. The area (SEZ) has 7 major industries like chemicals, oils, IT and electronics automobile, equipments. Metallurgy etc.,
