Chief Minister to tour flood-hit districts

images3CHAMARAJANAGAR: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has said he will tour flood-hit areas in north Karnataka from Thursday to oversee relief and rehabilitation measures.Speaking to presspersons at MM Hills on Wednesday, Mr. Yeddyurappa apologised for the delay in executing rehabilitation projects owing to the political crisis in the State.He said that the Reddy brothers would now extend their full cooperation to the relief work, when he visited the flood-affected districts in north Karnataka.

He said the State Government would give financial aid to provide basic facilities at MM Hills to the increasing number of devotees visiting the temple.District in-charge and Food and Civil Supplies Minister H. Halappa, the former Minister Krishnaiah Shetty, Deputy Commissioner Manojkumar Meena, Superintendent of Police D.T. Pawar and temple executive officer Vijaya were present.
