Cabinet expansion after Assembly session

HUBLI,: CM BS Yeddyurappa has ruled out the possibility of immediate cabinet expansion and said that it will be taken up after the assembly session, which begins from June 24.Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, Yeddyurappa said that some vacant ministry posts will be filled after the end of the session and also hinted at major changes in the cabinet.“We will also start appointing people to the various boards and committees.The honest party workers who were with the party for many years and supported the party during the phase of difficulties will be given priority,” he said.On the post of V-C of the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, which has been lying vacant for a few months, he said that steps will be taken to appoint the VC s o o n .“Some other administrat ive iss u e s will also be discussed with the Governor of Karnataka in the next couple of days,” he added.
