BSY to invite all ex-CMs for NICE discussion

Karnataka Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa on Friday said he would invite Union Minister and former Karnataka chief minister S. M. Krishna and also meet him to seek his support for the completion of the ongoing Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor Project (BMIC), executed by the Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise (NICE) as per the original frame work agreement and verdicts of various courts.

Addressing a press conference in Bangalore after a meeting with the party city legislators and MPs to take stock of the party’s preparations for the BBMP polls, Mr. Yeddyurappa said he was trying to seek the support and suggestions from Mr. Krishna as several prominent decisions on the BMIC had been taken during his tenure as chief minister.

Mr Yeddyurappa attacked former prime minister and JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda and his sons H D Revanna and H D Kumaraswamy for carrying out with their single-point campaign against the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project and said the BJP government was keen on early completion of the project as per the court directions and the original framework agreement.
