A ‘down-to-earth’ Yeddyurappa visits Kukke

Faced with a threat to his seat, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, who visited the Kukke Subramanya temple on Saturday, chose to land his chopper at Puttur, from where he travelled 55 km by road to reach the temple.

Yeddyurappa visited the temple on the advice of an astrologer close to him. As it is considered inauspicious to fly over Lord Subramanya, he took the road.
