BANGALORE, DHNS: Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa willinaugurate the Centre of excellencefor liver and pancreaticdisorders and  multi-organ transplantation unit and liver ICU at BGS hospital  on Friday. It will facilitate better care and treatment for  people requiring liver as well as multi-organ transplantation.

“We already have a renal programme in place. Hence, we thought of starting liver and pancreas transplant programme. Theteam will be headed by world renowned liver transplant surgeonDr Prof Mohammed Rela,” said Dr K Ravindranath, Chairman and MD  of Global Hospitals Group.
