Martyrs were remembered on Tuesday during the Police Commemoration Day parade at the CAR headquarters. As many as 833 police officers across the nation and 20 from the state who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation, while discharging their duties in the past one year, were remembered.

The parade was presided over by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa.
