“Mahatma Gandhi had decided to dissolve the Congress Party soon after the nation gained independence on August 15 1947, as it had served India’s freedom struggle.   The general elections in the country will test the religious sentiments of fellow Indians.  The BJP seeks to reign in the national capital, in order to curb terrorism of all forms”, said the chief minister B S Yeddyurappa.
